This is an ideal way for me to fill empty dates while, at the same time, allowing you to keep your wallet heavier!  Here’s how it works:

When we meet, invite any couple you know, planning their own Wedding Reception, to join us.  Actually, any type of function is fine: corporate, anniversary, oldies, birthday, club or any other party event.  Then, if they too feel confident that “I’m their guy”

I will reduce my fee by $75 PER HOUR from my published rate...for your affair as well as theirs!

So, for example, you will BOTH enjoy $300 savings (if each is a 4-hour Reception).

As you all enjoy your savings, I solidify my calendar.  Win-win(-win)!

NOTES:

1. I must receive BOTH contracts with deposits postmarked no later than one month from the date of our meeting. Often contracts are signed then and there.  However, I always allow time for you (and those you invite) to consider your decision and interview other DJs.  But extending this offer by one extra day leads to two extra, which leads to a week...  This violates both the integrity and purpose of the program.
   

2. Big pond.  Lotsa fish.  Should another potential client call with an inquiry or to book either of your dates prior to your responses, I will give your group the right of first refusal.  I dislike being pressured myself so I never pressure clients, but I’m sure you understand that I have no alternative to accepting the first solid booking for any date.  In a case such as this, in order for you both to receive the fee reduction, both contracts may have to be returned immediately, or at least in a shorter time frame than one month.
   

3. While this program is obviously based on my availability, if I’m already booked on your friend’s date, my son Michael also offers this rebate/referral program through his DJ service.  He learned by my side, has 15 years of Mobile DJ experience and does outstanding work. “The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
   

4. To avoid any disappointment, we can verify our availability for all of the possible dates when we initially set up the meeting.
   

5. While we certainly appreciate additional referrals, the maximum fee reduction per family is $300.  Still, not too shabby, right?
