This is an ideal way for me to fill empty dates while, at the same time, allowing you to keep your wallet heavier! Here’s how it works and why my clients approaching the “Mitzvah circuit” love it:
Your friends who will also be hosting an upcoming Mitzvah will need a DJ as well. So invite them to our meeting. Then, if they too feel confident that “I’m their guy”
I will reduce my fee by the Jewish “good luck” number: 18. Chai. Life.
That’s 18% off of my published rate...for your affair as well as theirs. L’Chaim!
As you enjoy your savings I solidify my calendar. Win-win(-win)!
NOTES:
The 18% discount is based on my hourly fee, regardless of performance length.
Subcontractors and options are always available at a discount through any of my Packages, however they are not subject to an additional 18% reduction.
I must receive BOTH contracts with deposits postmarked no later than one month from the date of our meeting. Often contracts are signed then and there. However, I always allow time for you (and those you invite) to consider your decision and interview other DJs. But extending this offer by one extra day leads to two extra, which leads to a week... This violates both the integrity and purpose of the program.
Big pond. Lotsa fish. Should another potential client call with an inquiry or to book either of your dates prior to your responses, I have a problem. I dislike being pressured myself so I never pressure clients, but I’m sure you understand that I have no alternative to accepting the first solid booking for any date. In a case such as this, in order for you both to receive the fee reduction, both contracts may have to be returned immediately, or at least in a shorter time frame than one month.
While this program is obviously based on my availability, if I’m already booked on your friend’s date, I will check my son’s availability. Michael learned the DJ trade by my side. “The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
To avoid disappointment, we can verify our availability for all of the possible dates and times when we initially set up the meeting.
Naturally I appreciate additional referrals, however the maximum fee reduction per family is 18% Still, not too shabby, right?
